The Daily Mail of 15th March 1920 reported “…The Dayboro sawmill, who has been owned for many years by Messrs. Heathwood, Lacey, and Cruise, has been sold, the purchasers being the well-known firm of sawmillers , Messrs. Dath, Henderson and Co., of Brisbane.  The sawmill premises occupy a site adjacent to the terminus of the nearly completed Enoggera-Terrors Creek railway…”

Terrors Creek Timber Company Limited was incorporated on 1st June 1911 to purchase the business conducted by Samuel Heathwood and John Heathwood known as Samuel Heathwood & Son.  The major shareholders were members of the Heathwood family, Ernest Lacey and Rudolphus Cruice.
