The Lyell Deer Sanctuary at Mt Samson, Queensland, is home to a small herd of Red, Rusa and Fallow Deer. This peaceful little hideaway in the beautiful Samford Valley, just thirty minutes north of Brisbane, is a popular destination for groups, adults and children alike, offering education, serenity, good food, crafts and a truly unique experience.

The Lyell Deer Sanctuary is well recognised in the Moreton Bay Shire and also attracts visitors from all over the world who want to get up close to these magical creatures in a peaceful and beautiful setting. Visitors can bring their own picnics or choose from a selection of treats served from the Sanctuary cafe, including a daily cake, devonshire teas, and something for our sugar-free friends too.

Larger bookings are always welcome and catering can be provided if booked in advance.
