Overview
Combining warm hospitality and luxurious accommodation, Dayboro Cottages and Llama Walks was designed as a very special and unique couple’s retreat. You will find us situated 3.5 km along Mt Mee Road from the Dayboro township, approximately 45 minutes from the Brisbane CBD.
Whether you are a couple looking for that romantic getaway, a lone traveller or just needing to escape and unwind, you will be sure to enjoy the peace and quiet and the gorgeous views over the Dayboro Valley in one of our private self-contained cottages set amongst natural bushland and mountains.
Our beautiful llamas are curious, interesting and calming characters and are bred for their temperament. They originate from Peru and Bolivia in South America, and are amongst the earliest of all domesticated animals. A member of the camelid family, llamas are a herd animal, but react very positively with people.
The cost of a llama walk is $35 per person, this includes an afternoon tea in the garden following the walk. The walk itself takes around an hour to an hour and a half. We have groups of approximately 8-10 people, where each person has their own llama to lead through some of our 85 acres of bushland and rainforest.
