Dayboro residents are being asked to conserve water to prevent official restrictions, according to Unity Water Infrastructure Services executive manager Rob Dowling.
The town currently has sufficient supplies for its immediate needs. “If water supplies continue to diminish at the current rate, water restrictions may be imposed” Mr. Dowling said. Dayboro relies on its own water supply, which is drawn from boreholes adjacent to the North Pine River and treated at the Dayboro Water Treatment Plant. The boreholes are replenished by the river water.
