The Dayboro & Districts Junior Farmers Club was formed at a public interest meeting held on 6th March 1958 and an office executive was elected. The Club’s first meeting was held on 10th March 1958. The first Executive was Leigh Henzell, Chairman, Laurie Stubbings, Deputy Chairman, Val Bass, Secretary, John Baxter, Assistant Secretary (resigned 6th October 1958 and Neville Juffs elected) and Tony Hawkins, Treasurer. The last recorded meeting was held on 21st January 1972. The Club entered exhibits in local Shows as well as the RNA (Ekka). World Refugee Year was launched on 28th June 1959 and it was featured in the Club’s 1960 RNA exhibit.
